Starbucks Caramel Brulee Latte

This is my coffee of the week review of Starbucks Caramel Brulee Latte. As I mentioned in my other articles the only way to save money and cut cost is to invest in a good Expresso Machine. However, if you are like most consumers, those flashy signs and annual holiday treats lure you right inside of their doors. Well, I took a gamble and tried the Caramel Brulee Latte. I actually, liked the way it sound, quite French and exotic. It was far from the normal Lattes that are now being offered, so I was eager to try something new.
The Caramel Brulee Latte is a sweet drink that lacks the edge of an expresso. However, if you want something that can put you in that holiday mood, this drink may do the trick. The caramel tastes more natural than the artificial sweetners that Starbucks has often used in other drinks like their Caramel Macchiatto. The Caramel Brulee Latte has a mixture of coffee and expresso with cinnamon, nutmeg and another spice that I’m unable to determine. The big finish is a portion of whip cream layered above the coffee/expresso with caramel poured on top.
I really enjoyed this expresso drink because it had a pleasant beginning, not something that your taste buds have to adjust to or will later regret. Most latte drinks seem bland and unfinished. I always have to add a few spices and a cube of sugar to get the right taste. Nevertheless, with the Caramel Brulee Latte, I think they may be close to getting their Latte drinks right. Unfortunately, I believe this is a holiday specialty drink that is only available for a limited time. Why do good things have to come to an end?
Well, to conclude, I know you can make this simple drink at home with over the counter ingredients. If you are a dare devil purchase my Starbucks Recipe Book and try to make this French Latte at home. I bet you will be surprised at the delightful drink you create.

Most people are in a rush to get to work, school or socialize. Doing things quickly has become the way our society functions. Coffee has also evolved from making that traditional 10 minute brewed cup to the instant 30 second cup. Its easy to buy a cup from the corner java house but at some point you’re going to want a cup at home. For those of you that are in a rush, my suggestion is to invest in a good coffee pod maker.
