How to get an Ex back

Do want to get back together with your ex? Are you wondering if there are any magic potions or lotions to speed up this process? Well, there are no unnatural gimmicks that will suddenly get you back together. First realize that most adults experience some kind of break up once in a lifetime. The common way to handle breakups is to just move on. However, if you continue to move on you run the risk of repeating the same mistakes and not learning and growing. I want to offer a few simple steps for learning how to get an ex back.

1. Determine what caused the breakup
If you want to get an ex back you need to determine what caused the breakup. Try to evaluate what mistakes you made in the relationship and what you could have done differently. Forget about blaming your ex and really look at your part. Sometimes when you step away you get an in depth view of your behaviors or a single event that triggered the breakup. Even if you and your ex do not reunite, the next relationship will be stronger and lack the problems of this one because you gave it a closer look.

2. Don’t appear to be a needy person
After evaluating the break up, don’t appear to be too needy. Sure your friends and family will want to help and console you. However, during these downward times make sure you stay grounded and show that you can pick up and move on without your ex. Let everyone including your ex notice that you are doing fine by yourself.

3. Don’t seek Revenge
During the first months of a break up, it’s normal to seek revenge. Both people are hurting for various reasons and want to get even. This is the wrong step to take. Don’t seek revenge or try to make your ex jealous this will only add fuel to the fire and cause more hurt feelings. If you want to get your ex back, show him or her that you feel self confident and inspired to give the relationship a chance for success. Your ex will appreciate your new attitude and may consider this a sign of positive change.
